Subject: First Person Shooter. [spoilers]

This was an enjoyable show. I can't understand all those people who slagged it. I know it wasn't deep and meaningful but it was still original and different and XF. The only thing I didn't like was the boring game. Just standing there blasting the crap out of the things coming at them. derrrrrr!!!!They should have had something more interesting and either combative or complicated, demanding more skill. But that is coming from a woman. I don't know about any other women out there but I'd love to play that game. I love to blast the crap out of things too. I loved how Scully did it. She was way cool. And now she is the game goddess. yay!

I loved the playfulness of M and S. She was having alot of fun with Mulder's playful mood. She was smiling when she moved to block out Mulder's view of Jade. He was teasing her quite badly. She was ammused at him being so enraptured with the game. I loved how she couldn't make up her mind about the autopsy. I also loved the way she had to be stopped from knocking out the computer nerd's teeth. I also loved that little tear that formed in her eye when she was worried about Mulder being stuck in the game.

I also have a theory about why the LGM couldn't just pull the plug on the computers. Pulling the plug doesn't get rid of the game, it just wipes it off the screen. Or stops it. Even when they turned the game off, Mulder wasn't in the space. He was still in the game, on level two. If they had pulled the plug then he would have been still trapped in the game. And maybe they would never have been able to get him out. The only thing to do was to crash the game...destroy it. But of course the goddess makeup was in the girl's computer so when the Jade Goddess was desintegrated in the game ,the basic makeup took on the surviving female's attributes and voila! Scully Goddess!!!!!

Well that's my very simple and unknowledgeable explanation of it anyway. I really enjoyed this show. Just for the enjoyement of it. I would have loved it more if the game had had a thinking element to it. But then, it was a man's game wasn't it????:-)
