"I fixed pork chops, ham, bacon, corn beef hash, sausage, pickled pig's feet and cow tongue for breakfast and she's STILL hanging around," Dad whispers on the phone to KS. "We've got 2 more days before the actual bike ride starts."

"Can't you send her on a fake bike ride?" KS whispers back.

"Ooh, good idea, there's a bridge out down the road some I'll send her down there." Dad brightens at the thought of a plan. A tuneless droning can be heard in the background. "And she keeps humming this stupid song."

"That's humming? It sounds like a hive of bees," KS holds the phone away from her ear. A clamoring and thunking is heard. "What's that?"

"She's waving some spandex in front of the bull," Dad answers, exasperated. "I'd better go before the bull gets hurt."
