Something is stuck to her right hip. She keeps swatting at it, but it doesn't move. Looking down, she sees The Perfect Child #1. "What are you doing? Get off my hip!" kande yelps.

#1 holds up a tube of superglue. "I'm attached to your hip, Aunt Kande!"

Kande groans and points a finger at her sister. "This is all YOUR fault!" KS chuckles and twirls one of her big guns. "As if my day hasn't been bad enough," kande continues her whining. "I got up at 3:15 to catch a 6:22 flight, only to sit on not one, but TWO planes for at least four hours before we took off. Why do airlines get you on the plane, THEN tell you there's a problem? Why?" Kande looks around, but no one has an answer. "Then, since I missed my connection in Detroit, I went to the gate of the next flight, as we'd been instructed. The agent asked why I hadn't been rebooked. How the hell should I know? I was trapped on a plane for four freakin' hours! Geez! Then she said that if she had time after boarding the other passengers, she'd see if she could get me on. I nearly strangled her."

"Why didn't you?" asks #2, a slightly sadistic look on her face. "I would have."

Kande takes a step back from #2. "Anyway...my luggage didn't make it onto the plane, of course."

KS yawns. "Are you finished with your little story? I'm hungry."

"Yeah, I'm finished. At least, until I go home. I'm sure there won't be any problems then, right?" Kande gives a half-hearted laugh. "All I can say is, next time I'm NOT flying Northwest."
