"And just where am I supposed to move?" KS asks loudly as the others start to whistle as they work. Everyone freezes in place when she challenges the Mayor, except Det, who promptly falls down and skins her knee.

The Mayor sways as she walks down the steps of the stage. "I was thinking of that little room beneath the steps at the Klub," she smugly informs KS. "You know, Bubba's room?" Someone dares to titter and KS cuffs him on the ear.

"And who's going to be in my house?" KS asks between gritted teeth.

"Yoo hoo, Mayor!" a voice says behind her. "Where should I put that crusty old electric chair?"

"Melissa!" KS snarls as she whirls around.
