Protectively, KS pats her sock where she has her new Dr. Seuss Sam-I-Am watch strapped around her ankle so KM won't see it and enact a new rule to confiscate all new watches. She continues to walk around the room inviting people to pat her sock just to see them recoil.

"Hee, hee, no one knows I have my watch strapped around my ankle!" KS giggles.

Finally dragging her eyes from her new X-file watch, Kande glances over at KS. "Do you have your watch strapped to your ankle?"

"Uh, what watch?" KS says nervously, eying KM and trying to distract everyone by demonstrating the tricks her finches have learned in just two days.

"The WATCH I gave you for Xmas!" Kande says loudly, glancing over at KM to see if she's paying attention.

KM whips out her decree pad. "I decree that everyone must give me presents on my 40th birthday! Watches -- particularly X-file watches -- will win high favor."
