Bubba lifts the banner a little higher on the left.

"Now just a smidge on the right."

Bubba's face is turning a purplish color from all the exertion. He moves the right side a smidge higher, then steps down from the ladder and collapses into a chair. He fans himself with a cocktail napkin and guzzles some root beer.

Kande peers at the sign, then wipes a tear from her eye. Bubba reaches up and pats her on the shoulder. "I'm ok, Bubba," kande says. "It's just...I'll miss the little fella."

Bubba looks at the banner. "Farewell Bud the Cyst!" it reads. He surreptitiously rolls his eyes. Who would have a going-away party for a cyst? Only a morono.

"Oh, brother!" snorts KS. "You're having a party for Bud the Cyst? You're weird."

Kande sniffs and wipes her nose on her shirtsleeve. "So I'm having a party for Bud the Cyst. Big deal. You guys can still have a New Year's party while I'm recuperating from my surgery."

"Hey! Is that my shirt?" demands KS.
