But their stop forms and Gavin’s hackles erased the smile on her black lips. Her head was raised higher than his by instinct and her eyes narrowed in concern. She had smelt the unfamiliar scents or very young wolves but now there was no sign of any. She tilted her head as the female crawling forth with her tail tucked. She felt the moisture of the others tongue and lowered her head so the female was rubbing against her chin. It was as close to a hug as they could get. She let out a soft sound of her own, letting it vibrate out past her teeth. She was curious as to why they’re departure had been so extended. “I thought I smelt pups?” It was the first thing from her mouth and her eyes traveled between the two looking for secret twitches of communication between the siblings.
