..... I don't see any improvements in the middle east. The cycle of retaliation makes things much worse, and the hatred-generation on both sides continues to "stoke the fires". The reality is that so far only Egypt and Jordan have peace treaties with Israel, while the war that started in 1948 still continues with all others concerned. In war all sorts of terrible activities must be expected on all sides, and generally truth is "bent" as one of the many innocent victims of war.

..... I am not aware of any better general education and liberalization. Every innocent person hurt is one too many, and unfortunately it is far easier to send people to the moon and send unpersoned vehicles to other planets, than it is to solve the many problems inherent in many social interchanges. Zealots are convinced that they are doing the "right" thing, based on their version of what the "truth" is.

..... I don't see any unfolding. There are very many so-called "truths", and the propaganda mills keep manufacturing untrue "facts" as required by the agenda of their biased originators. Reality is viewed via "colored glasses" with lots of picking and choosing of only "realities" that fit the personal bias, with all others ignored and/or discarded.
