((Compy's been broken for a looong while. Sorry 'bout that.))

Death Toll's lips curl back at the other canine, interest lost in the pair of humans until the metal object was raised. His hackles rise at that, eyes glinting maliciously. "You who would side with the dirty humans when they are the ones who tresspass and raise weapons against us?!"

Although the mastiff had been fine, once the other came into view, his entire instincts kicked in. To fight, to kill, to win, to dominate. Tanned lips curl back to reveal black gums and white teeth, tail sliding into a dominant position over his back as small hackles rise on him. Nothing coherant rose form his throat besides the menacing growl.

Toll took one look at his friend, grin spreading on his face. "Sunny will tear you to shreds if I let him. He's not friendly to strangers."

It was true, Sunny was pro-people in most aspects. He'd much rather be in someone's home uner their feet with a warm fire. But his protective streak had gotten him kicked out many a time. So that protectiveness fell onto his now-companions. And this human and this dog were threatening them.
