The girl laughed at his comment. "Yeah right. I'm just the average looking girl who managed to land the hot date. So if they want a hot date, they wouldn't be thinking of me." She said with a smile and a shrug. Lavender eyes again looked over to the table. One of the men, the largest of the three lifted a hand and beckoned her to come over, and then he tapped his lap. She sighed and looked back towards Max. "Creepers." she muttered under her breath for Max to hear. She saw him smile after her comment about his accent being cute. "Yes, I said cute. And I mean it." She said lightly as she brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. At his next comment she lowered the coffee cup that she had lifted to her lovely lips and smiled. "good. Even if you did mind, I would still make you put up with me." She winked at him. After her small story about her career, a small silence settled over them until he finally replied. "yes, sir. The only female in my district, no others. And, yeah it can, especially at the parties. The men tend to ask me to do things at the parties such as lapdances and a stripper routine. I normally just laugh them off and make some sarcastic comment, but lately some of the men have been getting pushy and their comments and touches heading towards harassment. That's part of why I asked my chief if I could get away from the home office for a while." truth be told there was a little more to the story, but until she knew Max better, thats all she could really say. At his comment about the coffee, she laughed and passed him her mug. "You can use it more than I can. Drink this and I will get us some more." She caught the eye of the waitress and flashed two fingers in the air and waited until the waitress made her move to get the coffee before she turned back to Max.
