Prior to Kande's arrival: Uncle Gordon and Dad sit down with Father Sandoval. Dad looks closely at the Father.

"Aren't you the Sandoval KS dated all through high school?" Dad gapes in astonishment.

The Father hangs his head bashfully. "I wasn't sure you recognized me, sir."

Dad takes in the Buddha-belly straining the Father's cassock and the receding hairline. "I wouldn't have, except KS's prom picture is behind you and there was a vague resemblance to the boy you used to be," he informs him. "What made you turn to the priesthood?"

"KS broke up with me," sniffles Father Sandoval, hauling out a hanky and loudly blowing his nose. "I figured if I couldn't have her, I didn't want any woman."

"That's happened a lot," Dad agrees. "John Doggett will have to mind his p's and q's."

Dad leans back on the couch and looks at the clock. He suddenly leaps up.

"Ohmigod! Kande will be here any minute and I've forgotten to put up any pictures of her!" All the men shudder at the thought of what she'll do if her ego isn't stoked. Father Sandoval even forgets to chide Dad for taking the Lord's name in vain. Instead, he crosses himself and starts fingering the rosary. Taking desperate action, the men start duct taping photos to frames. As they finish, the doorbell rings.

"At your battle stations!" Dad commands.

-KS, who really did date a Sandoval all through high school. How did Rab-id know?!
