They're dressed completely in black, including their ski masks and clod hopper shoes. Stardoe immediately recognizes Kande (because of the shoes), CW (because of the pink boah sticking out from the top of her black polo shirt), and the Mayor (because of the moose) standing in front of her.

"What in tarnation?" Stardoe begins and then claps her hand over her mouth. She's beginning to sound more and more like a small-town, hick sheriff.

Kande rips off her ski mask, her brown hair reforming itself into its usual clumps. "You saw what was happening over to the klub," she whines.

"Yeah," CW chimes in. "I had to create that diversion with the dominatrix crowd to try to stop it. But it didn't work."

"They're taking over my town!" KM slams her fist into her palm. "I knew they'd try this as soon as I went on vacation."

"So..." Kande and CW both start talking at once. "We decided to come over here..." Kande continues, glaring at CW.

"And get some of that liquid goo stuff you're so good at mixing up," CW adds.

"So where is it?" KM concludes.

Stardoe looks at the trio in bewilderment. Who is 'they'? What goo? And where'd she set down her coffee cup when she came into the lab?

Before she can voice these questions, a loud pounding and splashing can be heard, and then gunshots.

"Let me in!" KS shouts, then curses at the crocodiles. The small group in the lab can hear her say 'down boy! Leggo of my pants!' and then another gunshot. "I heard your alarm go off, Stardoe, and know you have intruders! Let me at 'em! The torture chamber is ready and waiting!" More cursing, more shots.
