Stardoe finishes her report on Rabid's interrogation.

"Are there puffins in Antartica?" muses the Mayor.

"Dunno, don't care," Stardoe tells her, thumping all 1,342 pages of her report onto the Mayor's desk. "John-boy typed up this report for you. After I did a wee bit of persuasion."

"Please, oh please, don't tell me you did something to him that would cause KS displeasure," whispers the Mayor, gripping her head.

"Nothing that would cause any marks," Stardoe whispers back, grinning.

"Oh goody." The Mayor goes back to being all business. She drapes her raincoat and umbrella over Scullystar's head and neck. "Hmm...I see catatonia IS good for something."

"I think she'd look good with a potted plant in her hands too," Stardoe tells her.

The Mayor briskly rubs her hands together. "Now, back to business. What were we all doing before we were so rudely interrupted by the necessity of grilling Rabid?"

Just then, Kande bursts into the room, covering her ears and singing loudly "LALLALALALALA!"

"Oh yes," the Mayor grins. "Thanks for the reminder, Kande. We were planning KS's birthday party."
