"Not YOU, exactly," says Kenamom. "I mean, no one would ever accuse you of having a sense of humor! Ha ha!" Kenamom nervously watches KS finger her assassin utility belt.

"That's true," sighs KS. "I asked for a sense of humor for Christmas, but all I got was socks."

Just then, kande runs into the klub. "Look what I got! Look what I got!" She runs around the klub, holding her left wrist up high.

"Maybe if you stopped running we could see what you got," CW says, looking at kande over her half-glasses as she knits away. "And you really shouldn't run in here. You could fall and put somebody's eye out."

Breathless, kande stops and beckons everyone to come take a closer look. They all gasp in unison.

"An X-Files watch? You got an X-Files watch for Christmas?" Kenamom is aghast. Gathering her wits, "You do know the tax on those is very high. Why, you may even have to use it to pay the taxes on it. Isn't that ironic?"

"That *is* ironic, unlike most of the things in that Alanis Morissette song." Kande ponders the mayor's comment. "Still, I think I'll find some other way to pay the taxes."

Kenamom looks peeved. Now she must find another way to get that watch! "I must have that watch!" she thinks to herself.
