The bees didn’t drift between rose petals and the birds didn’t twitter between branches. It was a easy kind of day. Everything felt right with the world and there was no rush to do anything. Except for Lady Kosses. She strolled through her empty pack lands with pride and a kick to her gray feet. Her eyes had been set to the horizon but after a particular stumble over a thorny branch, she turned her eyes downward. To her amazement she saw a trample of paws. Two large sets and two smaller prints. Her eyes were on high alert and her nose passed low to the ground. She recognized the scents. Her ears twitched back and forth before her maw opened and she let out a barking howl. She aligned her body with the path the four had taken and walked forward into the pack lands.
