I'd be curious to know where the funds are going, also. $1,200 a month and multiply that times 12 months per year. It's great that we have those funds available, but maybe a monthly newsletter would be appropriate to see how the funds are allocated.

After you pay your dues for the PTA, there are no other meetings to attend to vote on these issues. In other schools in the district, there are PTA general meetings throughout the school year, not just once in the beginning of the year. There should be a general vote on these type of issues as they come up during the course of the school year. I would hope that it's not just board members voting on fund allocation.
