I am so happy to see you here. Please do not be discouraged by the lack of response. I know it has been a long time since I have been here. I should be coming here everyday. I have not been able to come online for a few reasons. First, we have been having lots of problems with this computer. And now my husband is painting this room. He is bleaching the walls first to get rid of the mildew problems we have in this room. After the room is painted, he will be using this computer a lot more for his work. I hope you will be patient with me. Once the painting is done, I will be coming online a lot more. That is when my husband is not working on this computer.

I am an American white woman. I met my husband online. He is a Singaporean. We married in Singapore. I lived there for two-and-a-half years while waiting for my husband to get his spousal visa. My father-in-law immigrated to Singapore from Indonesia when he was still a boy. My mother-in-law is Teochew. My husband speaks Teochew quite well. Better than he thinks he does. He and my mother-in-law speak it in quite a bit. He speaks a bit of Mandarin. He only speaks a few words of Indonesian. My father-in-law speaks about every dialect of Bhasa Indonesia, some Dutch,and English. What about you? What are you? You say you are Singaporean Chinese. Are you Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese, or? Are you still living in Singapore? I loved lot about Singapore. I sure miss the eating there!

I know what you mean about the websites which stress the romantic link between twin souls. I was getting quite on one site for pointing out that not all twin soul relationships are romantic. So many people have such a strong wish that the one they want is the twin soul. They do not want to hear otherwise.

You say you are Buddhist. So many wonderful temples in Singapore. I forget the name of the street. But I am sure you will know which one I am talking about. No cars can go down it. It is strictally pedestrian. It is a street of temples of shops across the street from the temples. There is a beautiful Kwan Yin temple on it. My husband told me the story of Kwan Yin. As he related her life to me, my tears just flowed. The same happened when I went to honor her at her temple. She is beautiful.

You talk about karma. Most Pagans know there is reincarnation. We do know about karma and do our best to adhere to it. Although not all of us follow a Wiccan tradition, most of us follow the Wicca Rede which states whatever you do, be it good or bad, shall come back to you three-fold. I find it often comes back much more than that. I have come across a couple of my past lifes in glimpses. Some people still see the Native American woman I was in a past life. My twin soul and I both had a vision of one our past lives together while sitting next to each other at one of our get togethers. I know this will seem strange. But it all happened from the scent of a quince. Now my knowledge of reincarnation is being more confirmed since my twin soul passed to the Other Side. He sends me lots and lots of beautiful Sunflower ADCs. I looked up the meaning of Sunflowers. One of the meanings is life everlasting. It has to do with the soul being immortal.

Yes, everything does happen for a reason. There are no coincidences. I am finding that out more and more.
