With everything in the klub secured, kande goes outside to check on the parade's progress.

Looking up at the library, kande notices that it is shrouded in smoke. Making a mental note to get the story on that later, kande heads toward the town square. At the sound of gunshots, kande dives behind the Scully statue.

"Take that...and that...and that, you rascally varmint!" This is followed by more shooting. Recognizing the voice, kande gets up and dusts herself off. She peers around the statue to confirm the sight she expected to see: KS shooting at JD's feet. JD is pleading to KS to show him some mercy.

"ScullylovesMulder. Please stop, honeypie!" JD hops from foot to foot as a new round of bullets are hurled at him.

Kande is chuckling until she looks up at the mayor's float. She gives a girly scream and runs up to get a closer look. One by one, she rips off the pictures of her sister as a child. She stalks up to her sister and grabs the gun from her hand. "What is the meaning of this!?" She thrusts the photos under her sister's nose.

"Hey! Gimme my gun back!" KS makes an unsuccessful grab for the gun.

"Not until you explain these!"

KS sighs and takes the photos from her sister. "Ok, here I was 8. Gawd, can you believe those glasses?" She rolls her eyes at the picture. "Here I am in 9th grade. Tsk-tsk. I should have had braces, shouldn't I? Oh, and here I am at the prom. That was such a special night."

"You went with cousin Doug!" kande fumes loud enough for the crowd to hear. Hoots of laughter fill the air as KS turns beet red.

"He was a very good dancer," KS asserts unconvincingly as she tries to save face.

"Pfft. Anyway, that's not what I was talking about." Kande picks up a photo of her sister at age 16. "Just what are you wearing in this picture?"

KS puts on her reading glasses and takes a closer look. "Well, let's see. Those jeans look like yours, and I think you'd just bought that shirt -- hadn't even worn it yet, ha-ha! -- and I know those are your shoes." She removes her reading glasses. "So what's your point?"

Kande jumps on her sister and begins pummeling her. She suddenly stops.

"Hey! Is that my belt?"
