She thought about releasing one of the infamous 'cougar screams'...that should scare him off...but thought better of it. The neighbors would think she was dying up her and come running. So, instead, she did what a cat does best. She revealed her long, curved claws, and simply dug them into the carpet. She would see how far he was willing to go...she had very large doubts that he would hurt her, though. And luckily, she had enough scuff back there for quite a bit of slack. She could feel the beginnings of her shift coming to an end. She was rarely able to hold a shape for longer than an hour, much less than that if she wasn't concentrating. She wouldn't panic yet, but soon she would need to get to the safety of her bedroom, lest she wind up lying nude under a large wolf...and that just wouldn't do.
