Craig had half expected a reaction, but whne she hit the deck, he wasn't quite prepared. What would have been a solid take down if she'd remained standing, turned into a mid air twist and a skidding, half on half off landing. He dug his thick, blunt claws into the carpet to halt himself and ended up towering over her prone form with the front half of his body.

Unsure what to do now, but unwilling to admit that she'd partially out maneuvered him, he ducked his head. Burring his muzzle in the ruff of her neck, he snuffled her scent a little before grasping her scruff in his heavy jaws. His hold was solid but gentle, much as if he was handling an ornery pup who needed to be moved. He gave a slight growl and he tried to hoist her, knowing it would be shear luck if he could budge her. There wasn't nearly enough room to maneuver in here, and where he would have nipped her and raced away, he was forced instead to improvise... Possibly with disastrous results
