when I was working/volunteering at the local shelter the vets said the best low fat food was lamb and rice with somecooked carrots and broccali mixed in it.It always took a few days for a dog to start liking it and then a few days of extra poops but it always worked.Make sure as I am positive you do that the dog always has a full water pan to drink from.Cheers..Tina
