Kande pays the outrageous fee (in small, unmarked bills) and reclaims the keys to her klub, home, and newspaper office. With a skip of glee, she runs out of the city office building and hops on her bike. She pedals furiously back to the klub, where she hangs a "Closed For Renovation" sign on the door.

Bubba is thrilled to have his old boss back. He rips off the frou-frou smock and eats it. He then dons his carpenter pants and hat, hooks up his toolbelt, and begins ripping down wallpaper. Kande coughs politely to get his attention. When Bubba turns around, he sees kande holding out a pair of safety goggles. Not wanting kande to see his eyes tear up, he grabs the goggles, puts them on, and gets back to work. Too late - kande already saw.

"Guess I won't be in the bitch parade this year," she thinks to herself as she turns on the chain saw.
