I was thrilled when I saw that outside shot of the motel with the rain at the end. It was identical to the one in Pilot. I wonder if they used old footage. The bed scene with them in their original positions was great.

Well liked this better in some ways than I thought but have one complaint. I'm glad the "trip down memory lane" with the clips were just shown briefly over the current dialog rather than eating up precious finale time. It was good for me to see it all again because it's hard to keep all this myth stuff straight.

I loved Mulder's little visits from his merry dead friends. I guess Mulder had to trust Krycek because a ghost wouldn't double cross him. Would he? And X's visitation in his cell reminded me of the scene in Talitha Cumi with the dead characters coming to see Jeremiah Smith. I wonder if Mulder will tell Scully about his otherworldly help?

Muler didn't seen surprised, and neither was Scully a few weeks ago, that he and Jeffrey are half-brothers. When exactly did they learn this?

I thought CSM looked pretty trippy with his long white hair.

The one drawback is that I thought we were going to get a big huge startling surprise at the end and we really didn't. I was waiting for Mulder to have some scary revelation about William and that's what he was afraid to tell Scully. OK maybe I'm dumb but
I am still unclear, how exacty did Scully get preggers? Manipulation of her biology? Huh?

There was talk before this aired that RP is very upset with CC about the finale. I'm not sure what it would be though. I thought Doggett was going to get killed or something.

I found Mulder's moony eyes he kept making at Scully at the trial very amusing. :-)

I also wondered what happened next with Gibson and Skinner and also Doggett and Reyes. Maybe they could make a different kind of series "Doggett and Reyes on the Run--Fugitives from Twisted Justice!" Gibson, well he seems to come and go a lot on this show. I think Mulder and Scully or Doggett and Reyes should adopt him. Actually one wild theory I was thinking was that Gibson *was* Mulder and Scully's son. They ought to keep him around more since he can come in handy but it was nice that Mulder wanted to protect him.

I didn't think Kersh's turnaround was aprubt. I kept wondering when he was going to say something. There was an episode earlier where we learn Kersh was the one who told Scully that Mulder had to go into hiding so I think then we were seeing a different, kinder Kersh then.

I was so glad we found out where the heck Mulder has been all this time. Thanks for asking him Scully! So often things like this are just passed over.

LOL with Mulder about to give Skinner a big smooch! Too bad Skinner wouldn't let him. :-)

Still questions: Why is it the Super Soldiers wanted eiter Mulder or Willam dead again? Was that cleared up? And why didn't someone insist on checking the neck of the SS that Gibson exposed?! Grr! What is he, the new Assistant Director now?

One final fun thing for me (but I'm sure I'll have more to say later). You know the opening credits where they have that shot of different fan's screen names every week that they've been doing all year? One of my friends made the list tonight. That was quite a surprise. She was one of the people I went to the Evolution premiere and saw Dean Haglund at the comedy club with. Her name (screen name) was on the top row. I'm jealous!
