Chapter 6: Desires

Talib: "We can never let anyone know about this," He looked over at Terina and saw her disappointed face.
Talib: "Terina, please understand that. I ... I really like you. I do. But I can't have Meg find out about us. Not yet at least. If I wasn't attached, you'd know I would go out with you in a second. But I just can't deal with these complications right now."
Terina nodded
Terina: "Okay. I understand. But that means we can't even have a civilized relationship." Talib looked at her curiously, not quite following where she was going with that.
Terina: "We can't even be friends. We've gotta pretend that we still hate each other or else everyone will wonder what's up."
He was torn between Terina and Meg. What was he to do? Break up with Meg and go out with Terina or stay with Meg and pretend to not notice Terina's exist?
Talib: "I think... that for now, it would be better if we act like this never happened."
Terina: "Okay" Terina looked at her sadly and after a moment's hesitation.
Talib: "Well, we haven't left yet right? We don't have to pretend just yet..." Terina looked up at him and smiled. He had a devious look in his brown eyes and he reached for her and pulled her in for a passionate kiss.
Talib: "Let's make this little opportunity worth our while before we have to go back to hating each other"
Any reserves he had earlier about cheating were miraculously gone. Nothing else was in his mind right then except to live in the moment. He guided her down onto the bed while continuing to kiss her, his mouth pressed onto hers.

Liz: "Hey baby, where are you going?" she approached the guy's house. She had just come from her family dinner and saw everyone heading out the door towards their cars.
Jiz: "C'mon, get in my car. I'll explain on the way" he took her hand and led her to his car.
So Jiz, Liz and Lami went in one car while Nelly, Keisha, Jarell and Clara went in another car. Nique was going to pick up Meg who wanted to come and they were going to meet them there.
Jiz explained to Liz what was going on while they drove to Ikea. Nelly was on his cell phone trying to get a hold of someone who could open the door for them.
Fifteen minutes later, the three cars pulled into the deserted parking lot. Deserted except for Terina's car. Nelly had been put on hold from the customer service people and was waiting impatiently for some assistance.
Nique's car stopped and Meg ran out of the car and headed to the front doors, pulling on all of them, as if Terina and Talib wouldn't have thought of that already. The others approached her and a few of them started banging on the doors, trying to get Talib and Terina's attention. There was no sign of anyone in there and Meg banged on the door a little harder.
Keisha got them to stop when she noticed that Nelly was speaking to someone on the phone.
Nelly: "Yes, two of my friends are trapped in your store. Don't you have people check the store before you lock it up!? Okay, we'll be here. Bye." He hung up with the person at Ikea and told the others that someone will be here shortly to open the door for them.

Terina kissed Talib's neck and ran her fingers along his bare back. She suddenly paused and looked at him curiously.
Terina: "Did you hear that?"
Talib stopped, his lips hovering over her collarbone, and listened carefully. They could hear the faintest knocking or banging.
Terina: "Do you think that's them?" She shrugged and they got up. Talib pick up his shirt from the floor while Terina buttoned up her's.
Talib: "Well, I guess this is it."
Terina replied: "Yeah, I guess so..."
Talib held out his arms and Terina hugged him tightly. He tilted her head up and brought her lips to meet his.
Talib: "C'mon, let's go"
Terina: "Okay, stupid"
Talib: "Shut up!" Talib retorted and winked. They headed towards the front of the store in sexual tension-filled silence.
