Date Posted: 14:02:42 04/13/11 Wed In reply to: Craig Rhymes 's message, "..::Blood and Leather::.." on 16:51:55 04/12/11 Tue A purr escaped her as he sat with force, her low tail snapping side to side as she watched him. Her attention was taken by the shaking of his coat--the hue and thickness were beautiful, and she thought she might like to rub her muzzle in it, if only to feel the softness on her pink feline nose. That idea was gone in a jiffy, because in the next instant she was aware of him leaping at her. Cougars were extremely agile cats, with a impressive leap span. In the confines of an apartment living room, however, the grace and agility of the cat tended to be hindered, and such was what happened. She knew if she leapt back, she would end up rolling backwards over the couch. To the right or left was not an option, unless she wanted to hit the entertainment stand or the wall. So, she did the only thing she could think of and crouched, belly to the floor, head down, and ear pressed to her skull. She had a feeling he was going to land right on her, and braced for it.
