By no '78 or 79 pin' you _do_ mean no jumpers J78 and J79? You are certain, as they are hard to find?

If so, you seem to have done everything OK. Do check that the analogue board is reseating correctly in the edge connector - some people have been caught out with that one.

I've not personally come across an a/b without J78/J79, so over to others for more suggestions. . . . .
