 ::Ben's arm across Jaden's shoulders as they moved to the door leading into the Salty Dog. He would stop as if looking down the road saying " is that the old goat himself coming this way? You should see him.. mad as a mean dog and with a look that would scare away the dead." Of course the old goat was nowhere to be seen, but as soon as Jaden turned to look Ben gave her tail end a bolted to the door with a "got ya" tossed in.
All he wanted to do is beat her to the door.. after all he thought Jaden acted more like a man then the incredible beautiful sexy woman she really was, and he was going to make sure he held the door open for her.

Ben would always feel his mother's fan across the top of his head as her reminder to open the door for a lady. It was a painful lesson, but one hammered into his head. Ben snickered as it took awhile for Jaden to realize the captain was just a ruse. When she finally turned toward the open door, Ben would give bow as if she were the queen of England herself. His right hand held open the door while the left hand swept across in front of him as if saying "your highness, the tavern awaits you.

By the time Jaden all regal like entered through the door way.. she was greeted with "there you are, and here I thought you to good to be amongst us." It was Bloody Mary who in the course of a slow day decided to sample some of Robert's private stock of rum. Mary danced if one could call it such, but up to throw her arms around Jaden. "And here we thought you ran off with the pigeon." Now Mary was great serving the drinks.. this was the reason Robert made her in charge of the Tavern.. But if Robert was to see her right now.. knowing him he would have made her walk the plank. Well, there was no plank, but he would have come up with a like punishment for landlubbers.

Marry not seeing Ben who was still behind her holding the door. "Yes deary, Robert swore up and down you ran off with the kid. Something about "a father and his gold would soon be part.." yet the last word was butchered in quiet finish as Ben walked up behind Jaden. Totally flustered, Mary would magically produce a bar towel from deep within her cleavage and immediately start wiping down an already clean table. "Don't mind me deary.. I'm always going off with the tongue, Mr. Morley says I just like to hear myself talk." Still so nervous that she quickly wiped the head of Jaden's blade and with a very quick glance up to Ben a good day was given him. As Jaden took back her blade, a very nervous Mary would lean into Jaden with whisper. "oh dear.. I hope I have not let the cat out of the bag." Mary did not wait for a reply.. but scurried off toward the back room. Ben moves around in front of Jaden saying.. "I didn't know you frequented this Tavern, and what was she talking about.. The Governor and taking father's gold"?
