He braced his forelegs as she gave a tug, widening his rear stance to balance the increase in tension. Her tug gave him little trouble and he knew she was up to something then. Emerald gaze narrowed at her as she growled, knowing the sound was playful and not warning, but knowing there was something more going on in the feline brain of hers. He worked his jaws on the towel, tightening his grip without releasing it at all.

He'd expected her to try something, but he hadn't really expected that. His butt hit the floor with a little more force than was dignifying, but that was the only reaction to her release. He gave her a slight glare, rising back to his feet with a huffed breath. Pausing, he shook himself, still maintaining his hold on the towel. Before his coat had settled, he launched himself at her, dropping the towel mid flight. Large teeth bared, time almost stood still for him as his paws came closer and closer to slamming into her side.

He'd never messed with a cougar before, never really seen one in person. So he ha no idea how fast or agile they could be... And as such he couldn't even begin to calculate his chances of taking her down
