Tarot took a deep, shaky breath, blowing on her hands in hopes of quieting them. She would not give way to her nervousness. Would not give way. Hopefully. She brushed her hair out of her face and yawned. Creatures did what they had to, usually instinctively and hardly ever with the intent to demolish. He had done something that was purely carnal and animalistic and she did not fault him for it. Her father, on the other hand, had. Tarot refused to hold one man's crime against her race (that was her mother in her, she supposed) but she wasn't about to err the same way twice.

Zeth's words sent shivers down her spine. Ooh. Wow. Damn. He should stop while he was still ahead or he was going to end up captured under someone's spell. She felt a smirk curling across her lips. That would depend on what kind of bad. She opened her mind to him for a moment, allowing access to glimmer of thoughts before slamming the door once more. His question about food was more silently received. No, she didn't need dinner. Apples? There was nothing better than a good apple, in her opinion. Almost like good wine.

She stared out across the counter top, at the necklace sitting just before him. Damn thing. She could feel it, trying to fight with her- demanding her attention. You need to do something with that. It cannot be ignored.
