(she gets 'em riled up... THEN WALKS AWAY!!!)

The tawny-tressed and behaloed warrior, indeed Celefé, briefy veiled her eyes with golden lashes before answering. Whether in pain or while pondering, it was impossible to tell from observation. As the darkened orbs shone out again, a somewhat faint voice issed forth from parted lips.

"I would not call it bravery in the face of pain, rather ignorance of it. And vigor?" She laughed, a light sound quite like the rustle of the leaves overhead and not entirely unpleasant to the ears. "As you can see, I can hardly sit upright in the saddle! It's fairly suprising that I am here at all, speaking to you, instead of lying on a bier. And for that, I have you to thank, Lady Lenariah." A tip of her head accompanied the thanksgiving. Then, after a short-lived expression of contemplation, she spoke again. "And talking of such things as saddles and whatnot, I'm making you walk in the dirt while I ride! Not to mention its giving me a terrible pain in my shoulders, staring down at you."

Celefé made fast speech with the warrior abreast of her own steed, who then turned his horse around and went opposite the way the two columns passing by them went. As they waited for his return, the Lady continued the conversation.

"No, physical pain has never held as much power over me as mental anguish has. Guilt, helplessness, being unprepared or having less ability than others... they all haved plagued me for the relatively," she again laughed, as if enjoying a one-sided jest, "short period of my life. You see, when my brother and I were in our extreme youth, my mother left. We were out riding in the forest hunting very small game. When we returned home for the sake of not worrying my father about us being out past dusk, mother was not with him. She always was. So we, in our youthful confusion and curiosity, questioned her location. All was received as an answer was my father's shaking, graven face and 'She had to go home.' I still don't know where this 'home' is or why Mother had to go there, but I have since wondered if I could have done something to prevent it. I know that Tevion tears himelf apart over it more than I do, so that's rather a lot."

As she stole a glance over her shoulder towards her brother, the soldier from before approached. Behind his steed there trotted a bronze-coated equine, not quite as tall as the warhorses but lean and elegant in stature. A coppercoloured mane with matching tail stirred slightly in the forest breeze, as white-crowned hooves pranced to a halt aside Lenariah and almond eyes apraised her.

"Come, now you can rise with me and I can rest my shoulders."
