The slack in the towel tightened, the threads protesting the tension of being pulled in both directions. She held her grip, however, sinews standing out under her taut coat as she dug her paws into the carpet to brace against his tug. She had a feeling that the towel would be a casualty if this continued, but she didn't care...the fun of this game overpowered her care for the well-being of the towel. She gave a return tug, though not as hard as the last, a playful growl rumbling from her throat. Then, with a playful gleam in her eye, she released the fabric, waiting to see if his reflexes stopped him from stumbling back .
