Kande put her head in her hands. Slowly she looked up and stared at KS who was as white as her bedsheets. "Do you think she really means it this time?" she asks, her voice still warbling.

With the letter still her her hand, KS stared blankly at her sister and then in an equally shaky voice said "Do you think! We don't get a letter like this just for the sake of using up a 37� stamp now do you?"

Shaking her head, Kande muttered a bleak "No, but do you know what this means for the both of us?"

As the two sisters stared at each other, they suddenly couldn't help themselves and started to laugh hysterically. "Arizona--here we come!"
