She let out a little shriek of surprise, and did the only thing she could think of to shield her body from him: she shifted. At first, she'd hated the feeling of shifting. It had been uncomfortable and she'd often felt scared as she could almost feel every cell in her body picking up pace, mutating into something new. As she gained experience, however, she came to view it as a kind of release and rather enjoyed it. Where a small nude woman had been only seconds before stood a mountain lion, sleek and regal. Piercing yellow eyes regarded the lupine with playful interest, and large paws propelled her closer to him. She'd never shifted in the confines of her own apartment, mainly scared that her neighbors would get rather uneasy about a cougar being seen in her living room. What a sight they'd have now!
