Craig hadn't been in a big hurry to go home last night. Not with the stranger sleeping on his couch and the knowledge that the man was his bosses looser ex-husband. So when he'd crossed Lisey's scent path on the way home, he'd desired to follow it and see where the woman was staying. Finding that she was staying in the second of the two apartment towers, he'd been pleased. She was close enough to be convenient, but with enough space to allow them not to feel crowded by the other. He'd located her apartment number and returned to his own place, glad the stranger was asleep when he arrived.

Morning had brought the undeniable desire to shift, and he'd allowed himself the small luxury of shifting in his own room. He'd left the window open as an easy exit, as the neighbors started asking questions when your pet 'wolfhound' always walked itself through the complex. He slipped easily down the fire escape and headed for the other tower. Slipping inside, he made his way up to her apartment and waited patiently for someone to walk by. He used his best sad dog impression to gain their attention, then turned his gaze to the door, whimpering as if he'd gotten locked out.

"Oh you poor baby, did you get locked out? shame on your owners for not noticing. Here, we'll get their attention" The woman leaned over and gave a heavy rap on the door until it was opened "You'r dogs been trying to get in. It seems he let himself out"

Craig waited till the door had been opened, then let himself right in, as if he did indeed live there. He moved to the middle of the room and sat down, staring at Lisey with brilliant emerald eyes. He was always amused by the ease with which humans could be manipulated. He knew this shifter wouldn't be so easy to work over, but he figured he should put her through her paces early and see what she could do.
